Refund Policy
Last updated: [PLACEHOLDER: date]
Refund within 14 days, no questions asked.
In short: if you bought a product through Aisle checkout and it isn't for you, ask for a refund within 14 days. You don't have to give a reason. The refund comes from the developer who sold it, and Aisle triggers it for you.
Who it applies to
- Purchases made through Aisle checkout (the "Get it" button), both one-time purchases and [PLACEHOLDER: decide whether the first subscription payment only, or every renewal within 14 days, is covered].
- Not covered: products bought on a developer's own website after "Visit site". Their own refund policy applies there.
Conditions
You can get a refund automatically if all of these are true:
- You ask within 14 days of the purchase.
- The product was downloaded fewer than 3 times, or the licence key was activated fewer than 5 times.
- The purchase hasn't been refunded before.
[PLACEHOLDER: counsel to confirm whether "or" (either limit) or "and" (both limits) applies, and how hosted products without downloads or activations are treated.]
How to ask
- Open your Library, choose the purchase and click Refund. Guests can use the link in the purchase email.
- Or write to [PLACEHOLDER: support email] with your order email and the product name.
What happens next
- The refund is issued on the developer's Stripe account to your original payment method. Banks usually show it within [PLACEHOLDER: 5–10 business days].
- Your licence key and access are revoked when the refund goes through.
- You get a confirmation email; the developer is notified too.
Outside the 14 days or the conditions
The developer decides, and you can ask them through your library. If you think a product doesn't work as described, contact [PLACEHOLDER: support email] and Aisle will look into it.
Your legal rights
This refund promise is voluntary and comes on top of your legal rights:
- Right of withdrawal: for digital content and services, the 14-day right of withdrawal can end once delivery starts with your consent and acknowledgement at checkout. [PLACEHOLDER: wording under FAGG § 18 and the confirmation shown at checkout.]
- Statutory warranty: your warranty rights against the seller (the developer) for defective products are not affected.
Misuse
